Today I am sharing another adorable cutting file from The Cutting Cafe. I have only one more project to do for Regina and my term is ending so next one will be a sad one. I decided I would not stay on because my life is too busy lately with the team projects I have going on and I am cutting down some. It has been a pleasure to work with Regina. She is such a sweet woman and I have enjoyed every second on the team.

I will definitely try out again in the future when I go back into retirement which I see in the NEAR future. I am planning on relocating back to the warm and sunny climate of Florida i believe and then I am beach bond and I will be cranking away in the craft room when I am home! I am super excited about it.

So here is my little HO HO HO shaped card. I added a cute little santa hat on it with some fluff from a cotton ball added to the hat. Got to rock a jingle bell on it as well. I used a sentiment from Joys Life "Oh Christmas Puns" and some wonderful yummy Timeless Twine in Cherry red. I hope you take the time to browse the store because there is SOOOOO much there that you are sure to find what you need for making cards, layouts etc.

Spruce Up that old fan!!

Today I am so excited to be showing you that I used Square 1 Printable Fabric to spruce up my cheap old ceiling fan in my craft room. It took me 8 sheets to do it because of the sheet size was not quite big enough and had to used 2 sheets per blade to piece it together. The beauty of it is it was like seaming wallpaper and now my pattern is not perfectly matched but I tried to utilize as much of my material as possible otherwise to be exact i probably would have had to use 3 sheets per blade and that would just be silly! The pattern I chose was really easy to blend it at the seam and you can not even tell!

I downloaded some digital papers on to use for this fan. Now I love the beach, I love tropical things so I wanted something "beachy" and I have a chair in my craft room that was my inspiration. It was upholstered in fabric that is called "cabana village" so I played off that fabric for my selection of digital papers. I will show a pic of the chair too.

I wanted to mix it up so chose to do alternate patterns on the blades. I think that makes it fun. It printed so nice! I was planning on using my imagine and doing a paisley because I LOVE PAISLEY but my imagine pattern cart I chose wasn't going to work because it wasn't letting me select the 8.5 x 11 paper size! UGGGGHHH. It only seems to want to do 12 x 12 unless I was just too stupid to figure it out.

Now watch it I know what you are nice though ok. My sweet hubby had already taken down the fan blades while I was at work and washed them and got them ready for me to work on when i got home. He is such the keeper....did I tell you all he made me fudge the other day! YES he knows the key to this fat ladies heart. F-U-D-G-E...sing it like the village people sings YMCA its quite catchy!

Ok on to the crafty part. The great thing about Square 1 is that if you don't get it on right the first time just pull it off (effortlessly) and try it again and again!! I love that. And we are renting because we relocated from Florida (and ps I am heading back soon)....cause did I tell  you it is cold up here in the north and my old body has decided it is not liking it anymore! So I can remove easily all the goodies I have made for the house with this product!

Here is my inspiration craft room chair:

Here is close ups of my digital papers:

Product used:

Time to complete: 1 hour 45 minutes (not included removing blades and reattaching)

Now take the time to visit Square 1 Masterpiece and get you some awesome products to play with. They have iron on fabric, printable fabric and the colored sheets again that are "like" a vinyl product but so much better as they are SAFE and removable/repositionable!!

Its Raining Men....Gingerbread Men!!

Today I am showing a card made for Joys Life post. We were to show a Tip or Technique and I decided to use the Triple Stamp Technique and show you a card made with this technique and the wonderful stamps from Joys Life. I used Joys Life's new stamp set "Oh Christmas Puns" for my stamps. I love her stamps I really really do. There isn't one stamp on any of her sets I couldn't use. The quality is excellent!

I have compiled a collage of pics and I will have all the dimensions for each piece you use.

Here is my finished card and the instructions will be
in pics and info below.

1. Cut you base and all layers
(brown) base: 5.5" x 4"
2nd layer: 4.5" x 3.25"
3rd layer: 3.5" x 2.25"

white cardstock: large piece 5.25" x 3.75"
med piece 4.25" x 3"
small piece 3.25" x 2"

2. Using some removable adhesive place small amount in center of each white piece to adhere to each other to hold in place for stamping.

3. Stamp all your images on all over where you want them

4. Remove each piece and adhere to the brown layers

5. Using pop dots adhere the completed larger layer to base and
each additional layer onto each other lining up each pattern

Your done!!

Have a beachy day!

Today Timeless Twine is working with the Sweet Stamp Shop. I was sent the Dream Ocean stamp set to use. I wanted to do something a little different and also wanted to make a Christmas card for at least one project. I made this step card. It took me a long time to do because there is so many elements to the project with the palm trees, hula girl and surf board. I cut the palm trees from the Lifes a Beach cricut cartridges, The hula girl and surf board are from the Dani collection off of Jessica Spragues website.

I just took cream colored card stock and tore the edge for the layer that was to be the beach. The blue paper behind it is another paper from the same collection I purchased at Jessica Spragues website.

I used The Cherry & white Twine as well as the Aqua color for my card to go with the Starfish and sand dollar.

I just made a bunch of little knots in the cherry twine to signify christmas lights or ornaments I guess I should say.

My 2nd project using the same stamp set is not Christmas themed. I used the triple stamp technique to create this card and used every single stamp on this set! I used the Kraft brown colored twine for this project.

Don't forget to go to Timeless Twine and leave a message for a chance to win a $10 gift certificate from Bella Creationz to the store and get you some awesome goodies!!

Hope you liked my projects and don't forget to stop over and grab you some awesome colors of twine for your projects!

Merry Christmoose Twine Challenge

This month for Timeless Twine we are obviously doing Christmas projects for our challenge....ha ha what gave that away right! The Challenge for this month is Merry & Bright....

I used the Timeless Twine "Firecracker" Twine for my project because it was perfect with the colors I wanted to use in this layout and it makes me think of Christmas as well. I purchased the file for this in a collection called "Merry Christmoose" from

She has some really cute files! I thought this little moose was perfect. I made some Lollipops by just using some glue and going in a circle around it and then once it dried on my paper I cut it out and attached to a painted toothpick.  I decided to only put twine around my top photo mat.

I used the Martha Stewart Drippy goo punch o make icicles.

I printed the papers all from my Cricut Imagine Frosty Cartridge. I wanted soft pastels with a pop of color so I thought these were perfect.

Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to visit Timeless Twine and link up your projects for a chance to win some Twine and a paper pad.

Noel Noel

Its time for another great file for THE CUTTING CAFE! I chose to use the "Noel" word shaped card. I love the word cards Regina has in the store. You can do so much with them. Even if you don't want to make a card with them you can use them for a title for a layout.

This file came with this cute little Holly shape also to add to it. I tied a simple little bow out of Cherry Red twine from Timeless Twine.

I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut out all the shapes and the nice thing was that I could use the print and cut. I had downloaded some pattern paper from Jessica Sprague and this was all filled from those patterns from Echo Park "All I want for Christmas".

That is a great feature if you are short on time and don't want to try to find a bunch of papers to coordinate plus I don't own alot of Christmas papers. Seems I own alot of paper that I don't want to use or don't fit what I want to work on....hummmm seems like I need to purge and purchase!! ha ha

Please stop by The Cutting Cafe to check out the cutting files and printables. And remember no cutting problem! Regina always includes a PDF for hand cutting. Also several formats of cutting files. And also remember Cyber Monday Sales!! WOOT WOOT!

Joys LIfe Holiday Blog Hop

I am so happy you are joining us today for Joy's Life Holiday Blog Hop.

You should have arrived here from Lori's blog and if you want to start from the beginning I will have the lineup below.

Today I made a cute little treat box for my favorite holiday "kiss" these Hershey candy cane kisses are soooo good! This little box is from SVGCuts "Camp Smore" files. I think its a really good sized little box. I cut the Elf out from Cricut Jolly Holidays Cartridge. I used Perfect Pearl Pen to add dimension to the hat area and the little ball on his hat. Then used good old Martha Stewart Glitter to sparkle it up a bit. I pop dotted all of the elf pretty much to add a nice dimensional look to it.

I used "OH CHRISTMAS PUNS" for my sentiment!!

My cute little tinsel on the front disappears because my
kisses are too close to the same color!!

Here is the lineup! Don't miss any great projects!!

My Creative Time For Me Friday Tip of the Day

WOW has this year flown by right! I cannot believe we are just weeks away from Christmas and the year 2013. I am NOT ready for that. I am aging way too fast with this speed of things.

Today for Emma and "My Creative Time for Me" I made a cute little Christmas card using the stamp set "From Our Family to Yours".

I love the colors in this card and the cut little die cuts. Those stick santa's and trees are my favorite.

I also got my first Smash book with all the inspiration I get from Emma and her team so I included a few pages I just worked on and added some really cute pictures of my daughter when she was little. She is now 26 so I decided I really have to get serious about this scrapping and actually start scrapping things that matter to me and layouts which I am NOT good at but I am branching out and making a commitment. The smash book is going to be another extension of that. I bought mine at Michaels on sale in a "Folio Kit" so the book, washi tape, a few different stickers, small smash book and a little notebook were all included and for $11.99! The smash book has a nice little leaf/flower texture on the front and I love the colors!

I used the Polaroid die from "Just Simply Live" , Tag die set. I also used my favorite Timeless Twine "Black Kraft" twine on my tag! I  just cut off part of the polaroid because I wanted the shape on the bottom and layered it. I also used the sentiment die that comes in the set "Just simply Live"  too and stamped separated the letters from the new font stamp set "Label Font" and cut them out individually and added to this little die cut area. I used ALOT of the sentiments from this "Just Simply Live" because they just all seemed to fit perfectly...I can see how smash book lovers will love this set.

I know I said I was going to show you a tip using Epsom salts and I DO plan to do that but I can't this week because I got so busy with the holiday and cooking that I failed to get the items I needed to show you this. So it will be on the next round I promise.
My Tip for the Day

I scour the internet to always look for things you might have missed or ideas for this or that. Today I really don't have any storage tips which I love to share I just found another recipe to make your own
homemade Versamark!! Click here

Also since it is holiday time and I LOVE those hershey kisses with the peppermint pieces in it I wanted to share a great website to find peppermint recipes. Like the drizzled peppermint popcorn!! And its super easy just a bunch of those hershey kisses melted and drizzled over the popcorn! YUM!!! Visit here!

Your the Ying to My Yang

Today I am posting a project for the Square 1 Christmas party. We are to show you ways to use square 1 to help make holiday gifts.

I started with a beautiful cocoa brown and black canvas from Momenta. I used a standard stock image in my Sure Cuts Alot Program and used the blue and Cream/tan from the new Holiday Bundles. WOW I love this blue alot!! The great thing about this material is just that it is a fabric. I pulled it off several times to get it positioned right and placed it without transfer tape!!

I added some Momenta bling to the image and the word "love" just to give it alittle something something!!

Now I can give this as a gift to someone special!

Also here is just a fun decoration you can make with the product to make things fun for visiting family and friends for the holidays!! The toilet peeper I did at Halloween hit so I decided to do something different for the holidays! I made a cute little Rudolph the Reindeer toilet peeper!! I did start out with half circles cut on my machine but I didn't like that it was just too round on the bottom so I just took the scissors and removed each layer and just hand cut to make it more like a deer shaped face and it I think turned out super cute. I cut the ears and antlers out of paper on my machine and just taped them to the top of the toilet! I am not a weird-o  toilet lover I just want to make the regular things that you have to see all the time have a perked up look for the holidays!!

Savor the Moments

Today I am showing a project for Timeless Twine and a start of me actually scrapbooking layouts. I am trying to get better and this by no means is Great but I am starting to do 12 x 12's and then 8 x 8' sure to visit Timeless Twine on Dec. 4 for our Challenge and see my 12 x 12 layout. Plus you don't want to miss joining in for a chance to win some twine!!

This quick little layout is my 8 x 8 start for my daughters album. She was I believe 3 in the picture. She loves music and used to dance alot in the house and this pic was taking at my aunts house when she was playing on the piano. She had such pretty blonde curlie hair like "Shirley Temple" if you all are old enough to know that name. You could pull on the curl and it would just spring back. My daughter is now 26 years old and just the love of my life.

I used the FABULOUS new twine color in the store called "Black Kraft" and all the papers are from the Momenta black and White paper stacks. I know black and white instead of black and kraft but thought it would still be pretty. I just used accents to wrap around the picture area and journaling area and then a little bow for the dog. The dog is on their because it looks just like the dog she used to carry everywhere when she was little. She went no where without it. Others have blankets and my daughter had her puppy. She would rub the tag of it and fall asleep so she would actually wear holes in the butt of this dog and I would have to sew it back up. She still has it to this day!!

Please stop by the STORE to pick you up some awesome twine and support a small woman ran business!! It is very important to try to show our support of our fellow women!!

Christmas Ornament Card

Hello everyone!! I made this cute little ornament card with The Cutting Cafe's Christmas Ornament Fun file.

I used a Paper Stack from MME and its very glittery and thick. The problem is my cameo blade I believe got damaged because of this paper! So now I have to get another blade!

Next time I will maybe reconsider using this paper with any of my machines. It will be great for card bases etc. Its beautiful paper but just alittle too hard to cut. I added a cute little jingle bell and of course my favorite twine from Timeless Twine Christmas Bakers Twine.

The picture doesn't do the paper justice you can't see how much this paper shimmers in the picture. I tried to take the pictures a ton of times but still didn't capture the sparkle. Now looking over at it the card is sparkling away!

Now check out the files at The Cutting Cafe and don't forget there is ALWAYS a great sale every
Monday "Cyber Monday"

Hello Kitty Reindeer Easel Card

Its Hello Kitty Time!! I was ask to do a card for a sweet friend Ruthie of She is starting to do SVG file freebies every Monday!!! She has had several cute Hello Kitty files she has given to everyone the past few weeks.

I was thrilled to be asked because if you haven't already visited Ruthie's blog you have been missing out. She is SUPER talented and always amazes me with her projects. I love everything she does. She always selects the prettiest papers too.

I was sent this adorable Hello Kitty Reindeer file. I wanted to do it in soft pastels but still Christmas themed so I used my Cricut Imagine "Frosty" cartridge to print the papers. I used some Momenta pattern paper and DCWV solids for the dress etc. The background papers were from the Frosty cartridge. I used the Cricut Artiste cartridge for the scallop shape of the base. I just used a white piece of cardstock for the easel card base cutting it at 4 x 11" and scoring it at 5.5"& 8 1/4". Then attach the base to the very bottom small score/fold. Its a very simple card but I think it turned out pretty cute.

Now be sure to visit  to download your free SVG of this file!!
Thank  you Ruthie for asking me to make this card.

Peppermint Kisses for you

Today is my very first post for Joy's Life stamps and I am BEYOND thrilled to be on this team. Joy is super sweet and I LOVE her stamps so much. She is witty and we all know I love humor so this is a good fit for me.

I purchased a bag of these candy cane Hershey kisses....HELLO where have you been all my life. I am in love! My waistline is not happy about it but hey waist....i can get another pair of  BIGGER stretchy pants so settle down.

I made two little projects using stamps from  "Oh Christmas Puns"  and "Wintery Puns" and "All Around Sentiments"

My first project here is a cute little Penguin Treat box. I purchased this svg set from Scrapping Bug Designs. I used the cute little sentiment from "Wintery Puns" and then I also made a cute little tag and used the set "All Around Sentiments" to stamp the "To" and "From".

Second little treat bag I left kind of plain because the paper was so cute and the sentiment was just perfect on its own! I love these little clothes pins! I stamped the "definitely goodish" and then used a red cardstock to layer behind the sentiment. I also stamped a little candy cane at the end of it and just colored it with my copics. For This project I used the "Oh Christmas Puns".

Thank you for stopping by and don't forget to leave some love here and also on the Joy's Life Design team Blog. You got to get over to get some of these wonderful stamps!!
