Momenta D-Lite Feature

Today the D-lite team is featured on the Momenta page!!! For my project today I used the "Family Outings" paper stack and my I have to say this paper is a dream. Not only is the patterns super cute that are in the stack but they have a texture and quality that is super yummy! It cut great on my cricut.

I also used the puffy stickers "Endless Summer" for my layout. I cut my photo mats at 4.5 x 6.5 for the back one and
4 x 6 for the one for the pic. I hate to cover it up with a pic because the paper is so cute. I used some fish netting under my crab just for some interest and texture. I cut the crab  from "Life is a Beach" cartridge. The palm tree is from "Create a Critter" I also used some coordinating colored sheer wired ribbon for the bottom of my layout and this was just some I had from Michaels.

I used Epiphany Craft round tool to make a couple really cute little embellishments with the papers. I'm so excited we get to be a part of this and I am loving Momenta's products. I think they are really have GREAT prices on their products. The quality and price is unbelievable!

Guest Designer for Scraptastical Kreations

This is my third week of designing for Scraptastical Kreations . This project I took the set "Beary Sweet Easter" and instead of doing the bear sitting in the jelly beans I made it a flower pot! I love these faces from Peachykeen "cornies" set and can't get enough of them. So I took the bear and made him hold on to each stem of the flowers. I used a sentiment from "Creative Time for Me"  from the "This and That" set. I also used her oval stitch die for the sentiment.

I think it turned out pretty cute!!

My Creative Time for Me Friday Tip of the Day!

Ball Jar $1.99
Memory Jar......PRICELESS!!

Good Morning Everyone and thank you for stopping by to see another Friday tip of the day for my monthly guest spot for sweet Emma. Today I wanted to show you a cute project to make that is really quick and simple and just sweet!

The tip of the day here is to re-purpose old jars such as canning jars, pickle jars, speghetti sauce jars and make something that holds a special meaning/message...make a Memory Jar!

This one is all about my sweet daughter. She is the best thing that ever happened in my life and at 26 years old I still think of her as my little girl and that will never change. So I made a Memory jar for my project.

I used the "Teeny Tags" dies and stamps as well as stamps from "Turn that frown upside down" and "This and That". I cannot tell you how much I love Emma's stamps and dies. The quality is just far superior than other stamps. Her dies I am loving. I didn't know what I was missing before I had them.

I took a ball jar (purchased at Michaels for $1.99) and bought a spool of 20 gauge wire and just twisted them up to hold my little sentiments. I had originally plan to use long tooth pick type sticks but couldn't find them anywhere!

I just bent up little swirlies to put the tags on and hot glued them to the lid.
I put sand originally in the bottom but think I will buy something else to go in the bottom so by the time this pic is put up it will maybe change. I added a cute little sentiment for the front and used from "This and That" set. I used the circle die from "Build a Banner" to put her Date of Birth on.  I used "Turn that frown Upside Down" for the You complete me, It really looks cute in person.  "My minds Eye" 6x6 paper pack Lost and Found and it is Market Street.

I also used the "TeenyTags" die to make a cute little banner for the top. I was going to use the banner kit but needed my banner to be a bit smaller. I bought these cute little letters at target for $1.99. There is a whole bunch of them. They just redone our target and I have to say the crafting area is much better. I used the dies from Teeny Tags both sizes to make the signs inside jar.

$1.99 Ball Jar at Michaels (Do you know how hard it is to take a good picture of a jar!!)

It was covered up by the sand but you can use moss etc. It probably would be better since its hard to screw it on with all the loose sand.

This is such a wonderful sentiment! The papers were all from MME Lost and Found Market Street

I dream of going back in time to when my baby girl was a baby! I LOVE YOU LINDSAY!!

2nd Project
I did a cute little gift card for a sweet friend. I used Close to My Heart Die cut Cards with envelopes and used Miss Emma's New sets "You are Perk-fect" and "Coffee break". I love this die!! I also used her Curly Label Die. Click on each of the products I listed for the store page they are on!

I printed pattern paper from my cricut cartridge "Kates Kitchen"and also used the Homemaker stack from October afternoon. I used my Close to My Heart Art Philosophy cart to do that cute little flap shape! I knew the special person I am sending this too loves Red. I think all of these stamps are just so Delish!! I will be putting a starbucks gift card in place of the "fake" one I printed here. I didn't have time to get their today since I was super busy at work!

"Teeny Tags" used again for the Sweet Friend and the Many Thanks in pic below.

"You are Perk-fect" set again for the cup stamp and sentiment above.

The cutest cup die in the world from "Coffee Break"

3rd Project...yep its the last one!

I made a quick little card with the "Cocoa Motion" set
I used my Art Philosophy cartridge to cut this shape card. It is cut at 4 1/4" I think of "Do the locomotion" when I think of this set!! Although in my head I sing Cocoamotion instead of Locomotion!
I hope you enjoyed my long post and hopefully my tip of the day!

New Scrap Space

As you all know if you follow my blog I moved back to Indiana from Florida (I know WHY OH WHY!) but I did gain a larger scrap room. Although my little florida scraproom was a beautiful shade a pink and I had a great window to look out at the pool!

Now I don't have the walls painted here but I do have a Large window to look out of. I'm not looking at a beautiful pool but what can I say.

Here is some pics of my space so far. I have two small closets on both sides of my door that I did take a pic of but won't put on here yet because its not organized enough yet. I have to reorganize my space a bit still but everything is in its place for now.

I love to look at everyones space so hope you enjoy the pics!

should have turned this lamp off so I could have lightened the photos!

Scraptastical Kreations GD

Here is a couple cute things I did with Scraptastical Kreation files. The first one is a cute notepad holder. I used Momenta papers (Butterfly Garden) on it and a cute snail puffy sticker from Momenta

The lighting is bad on this one but I bought my photo tent but now I need to purchase the lights! So this is taken in the evening which is the only time I have had to scrap lately and If I don't take the pic it has to wait until the next day! Oh my I can't be that patient! I will try to retake it tomorrow. YEAH Saturday i am off and I can probably get that done...maybe! This cute little bear is the sunshine bear. I used a really cute (ok its my favorite set) of peachy keen faces called "Cornies" they are adorbs!

**Don't forget to stay tuned for next Friday (3/23/12) I will be Guest Designing again for my monthly Friday Tip of the Day on Emma's Blog "Creative Time for Me" I can't wait! Its going to be a cute little project...hint hint....its not a card....its not a layout.....oh my what could it be!! :)

Guest Designer for Scraptastical Creations Project #3

I have been on a aquatic theme with my projects lately,  but I love the ocean and beach time and being that I spent the past 3 years in Florida living I am missing it right now so I thought I would do something beachy!

I used Kristy's file (Scraptastical Kreations) "Ocean Wonders" for this fun project. I made a sign out of it to hang on my wall to remind me of the warm florida weather and my times at the beach. I WILL BE GOING BACK!!! I can't see myself living in Indiana long. I wish my hubby didn't have ants in his pants and gave me time to find another place there and just came back to get my father to live with us.

For all of you who don't know me that is why I am back. My father and I are very close and he has had heart problems. He had a triple bypass and was doing ok but still I wanted to be close to him if anything happened. I moved back and not even 3 weeks back he suffered another heart attack. I am thankful he survived and I was here.

Indiana does have wonderful hospitals and specialist in our area so that is definitely a plus but I HATE the weather here. Summer is coming and it won't be as dreadful but it doesn't last long. Where as florida has sunshine pretty much everyday. If it is gloomy it is very short lived.

I want to find a place this time more along the coast instead of in Mickey Mouse Central. OK enough about my life.

I cut 9 squares at 3x3 for this project and of course I inked everything with Tim Holtz Distressed photo ink. I swear I really need to go to Inkers Anonymous (yes that was inkers....not oinkers even thought that suits me too!) because I think I have to ink everything! I added some mud puddles to add a bit of texture! I see others with their "clean" projects and that is what seems to always get published but I am just an inker! :) and an oinker (back away from the kitchen Debbie, just say no!)

Guest Designer for Scraptastical Kreations

I completed a pretty cute little layout using Scraptastic Kreations "title" Aquarium. I pop dotted alot of it and believe you me this wasn't easy since I had to cut pop dots to fit and then they were small and hard to work with. But it added alot of dimension. I did every other letter in the title. I popped the cute little fishes fin and eye lid. Added a googly eye for the fish. I added this netting because i think it was super cute. I was going to use some mud puddles on it but decided to just leave it be.

The accent paper is from Karen Foster. The solid is Bazzill cardstock and I have to tell you I love the weight of this paper and the texture but hate this white core. Plus when I cut it, it seems to fray alot and not look clean.

I can't seem to cut a straight line even with a straight edge cutter!! I am just always off...story of my life!

Hope you enjoy!
