Love is in the air

Today I am on Joy's Life Blog and sharing a quick little card I made. I was a bit rushed for time because my week was a little hectic so I have to say I didn't quite get this done in the fashion I imagined.

I used a silhouette file for the girl/boy and used a cute corner punch to spice up the edges of the card. I think the black and pink just pop together. The hearts are from Joy's Life "Joyful Hearts" and I used the "I Love You" from the "Everyday Occasions" set. They are very versatile.

I pop dotted a couple of the hearts to give it some dimension. The twine is from my favorite of course Timeless Twine in "Raspberry Pink"

Stop over to Joys Life to check out all the great stamps she has to offer! There are also some great tins and extra products to get to make that special project!!

Timeless Twine Day at Bugjuiced

Well today I boo boo'd and forgot my post! I never do that I am really an OCD person and I am very organized so I will beat myself up for it the rest of the day!! But no worries I have something to share with you today.

I used the new color Cape Cod because I am in love with it and my dear friend Kristy send me the best paper pad from My Minds Eye that was just made for this twine.

I would have went more all out but again reading up above you see I was not prepared!! I hope you like it any how.

I took and made some round pieces of twine and tied the knot in the end leaving a tail to grab on to it with. I used my mixture of scotch quick dry glue and some water and put them in the pool. When I picked them up (of course they screamed "I don't want to get out of the pool yet" "can we stay a bit longer" so I had to bribe them with a Popsicle. I wringed the twine out and then layed it on my teflon mat to dry. I took that time to shape them how I wanted them. Of course I did the twisty twine on my skewer. Couldn't leave out the twists! In hindsight I wish I would have done them in green to use as leaves. I always do that after a project....smack my head like if I was mad I didn't have a V8 but just mad because I always think of other things to do AFTER the fact.

So here we are!! Hope you like it!
Be sure to stop by the Timeless Twine blog to see all the awesome things the DT creates!!
Stop by the store to grab some yummy twine in all colors, embellishments and bags etc.

Winter Life

Today I am on Joy's Life sharing a cute little "Winter Themed" card using the sentiment "Cold Hands Warm Heart" from "Oh Christmas Puns" to show you that you do not have to think Christmas or holidays when having a holiday themed stamp set.

I welded a cute shape from the Silhouette Online Store and made a card base out of that. Then used the inset tool to make another layers for the outside of the card. The mittens and scalloped oval are also silhouette files.

I inked everything with Tim Holtz Vintage Photo ink which if you pay attention closely you know is my favorite one!! Of course it wouldn't be something I made without adding some twine!! I used one of my favorite colors "Aqua" from Timeless Twine!

Popped mittens and the oval up with dimensionals and you got yourself a card!

Stop over at Joy's Life to get your stamp on!!

Valentines Multi Step Card

Hello people!! I am on Joys Life today and we are to show a technique and if you have been following me you know I am on a step card kick and I wanted to share with you my card for today using Joys Life "Tag Your It Set One" and "Everyday Occassions".

If you look a few post down you will see a great step card using SVGcuts files. And I will also have a link to yet another really cute one down below this post. Now I created from scratch this card in Silhouette studio using instructions I had gotten a while back when I made one several months back.

This card I used several cute patterns from the silhouette studio and did a print and cut for all my little pieces. I added several hearts and welded the top of the card to add a little something something! I also used the Subtract feature and added a few hearts in a couple spots to cut out and let the base color show through. I printed the base paper on my imagine as I didn't have the right color cardstock. Lordy I have alot of paper but I don't ever have what I want! I need to invest in a bunch of plain cardstock (I plan to buy alot of coredinations papers at some point!) and I will probably be selling off alot of what I have so I can just have those because I am loving the print and cut on the silhouette. I used the cute Raspberry Pink Timeless Twine for my twine on the hippo and a little boy on the middle section.

I am showing you instructions here for those of you who don't have a Silhouette and want to simple do this with your paper cutter because that is how I did my first one!

NOW..... If you leave me a nice comment below with your email address I will send you the silhouette file I created. Maybe I will even have a SCAL file by then...we will see.

More past step cards I have made.
and Here!

Hello everyone!!
Thank you for joining us for Joy's Life Mini Book Blog Hop!!

I used the shape from a Silhouette file. I used paper from Prima called "Doodle Denx" it has some really cute patterns. I used a silhouette cut for the pears on the front too. This was perfect for Joys Life "We are a Great Pear" sentiment. I used the sentiments from "Yummy Puns" The pictures are of me and my daughter throughout the book. I haven't finished a few of the pages because I am trying to pick out the perfect pictures. Here are pictures of several pages in my book. If you want to start from the beginning of the hop I have listed the lineup below! Thank you for joining us on this hop!

Cape Cod has the yellow, white and gray intermingled together. I love this and it makes me think of beachy, nautical projects so that is what I made!! I used cuts from Silhouette and created a step card (yep it happened...I went for another one!) I just did a simple braid to

The second project is a journal I made using the New "Graphite Gray" I love pink and I thought this turned out pretty with all the soft pinks, yellows and grays in the paper. Carnival Birthday Step Card

Here is the first post of the year for Timeless Twine!!! My project today is a step card. Now if you continue to tune in to my blog you will see I am on a roll with step cards. Not trying to post a spoiler alert but just giving you some warning that there is more coming!!

I love the way these cards look! I made one like this before for My Creative Time for Me blog hop and it was a hit. This one was ALOT of work. The other one which you can see if you click here was a lot of work too because I did all the cuts myself and not on a machine except for the little bears I added they were cut on the machine. I used My favorite Timeless Twine for that project too!

This card I used an SVG file from SVGcuts so it helped to speed things up a bit but there were SO MANY cuts on this card that it was alot of time and work but I love the way it turned out!!

I used "Lemonade Twine & Aqua" which are two of my favorites. I just LOVE every color of Timeless Twine I really do. I can't get enough of them!! Click here to get your twine on!

Wishy Washi

Today I am posting on Joy's Life and we were suppose to use a new product or something that was new to us. That for me is Washi tape!! I know, I know where have you been Debbie!! I never owned any washi tape and I keep seeing some really cute projects using washi tape so now I am on a mission to buy lots of washi tape! Cause ya know I have to go full force when I decide I want something or get on a kick!

I used the stamp set "Yummy Pun Stamps" for my card and some random washi tapes I picked up from Michaels. I just found a new site called so that will be a place I will frequent but letting my card cool off from Christmas so I plan to start shopping in a week or so! ha ha

I used used a birthday cake cut from my Cricut "Birthday Bash" cartridge. Its a simple little card but I think I will start playing with washi tape alot more and get a little bit more creative in the future.

Pop over to Joy's Life and grab some cute stamps and she also has some other products too like cd cases, test tubes for treats etc.!

Visit the DT blog for more projects from the other gals! :)

Beachy Day project

Today I am posting on Square 1 blog and just showing a quick way to make you a little canvas picture to hang up. I started with a canvas I had from Momenta. I used my Silhouette studio. I purchased this as an SVG file but I just took all the elements of it and colored it in Silhouette Studio and then layered it on and grouped it all together. It was a bit time consuming but I knew it would be cute when I got done. I made a frame around it and layered it to where it would look like a Polaroid picture. I added the "Margaritaville" text in the bottom.

I used the Square 1 Printable Media from Square 1. Look for LOTS of new colors coming from Square 1 designed by  Megan Elizabeth!

Announcement time....I have decided to step down from my DT position with Square 1. I am going to stick to two teams for right now to take a little break. I thank you for stopping by to see my projects with Square 1. I will continue to be crafting and will be on Timeless Twine & Joy's Life team only for right now.

Thank you for stopping by!
